Welcome Center

One of the joys of being a follower of Christ is being a part of a larger community of believers. We know from experience how wonderful it is to have the help and encouragement of others as we continue to grow and mature as followers of Christ. And we have a lot of fun together too!

Through gathering together for worship, participating in a small group for Bible study, or just getting together with others to hang out, we grow closer to God and to one another. It’s a beautiful thing to feel like you really belong.

Sunday School Ministry

Equip yourself with the Word of God! The Sunday School Ministry is the teaching arm of New Jersey Tabernacle. It is where the Word of God is explained in a simple, practical way so that everyone, both young and old, can understand and grow. NJT, Sunday School is not just another part of the service, it is a space for growth, where people can ask questions, learn the Bible step by step, and build a strong foundation in their faith.

This weekly gathering is important for your discipleship journey, moving you beyond mere knowledge into practical application of scripture. Whether you are new to the faith or have been in church for years, there is always something to learn and apply. So, come prepared and connect with your church family.

When: Every Sunday, 10:00 AM

Praise and Worship Ministry

“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). The Praise and Worship Ministry is the heart of our services. It leads the church into God’s presence through music, song, and heartfelt expression. This ministry creates an atmosphere where people can connect with God in a real and personal way.

We would love for you to be part of our Praise and Worship Ministry, so please join us. We meet every Sunday at 10:30am.

This ministry is important because it prepares the ground for everything else. Before the Word comes, worship opens hearts. Before prayers are lifted, worship sets the tone.

‘God inhabits the praise of His people’.(Psalm 22:3).

Evangelism Ministry

The Evangelism Ministry is the outreach arm of New Jersey Tabernacle. It carries the message of Christ beyond the church walls and into the streets, homes, and communities. This ministry is built on the simple command of Jesus: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel” (Mark 16:15).

At NJT, evangelism is not left to a few, it is our culture. This ministry leads the way by organizing outreach programs, community visits, and missions that reach people where they are.

The goal is simple: to share the love of Christ and bring people into a relationship with Him. This is done through conversations, acts of kindness, prayer, and practical support. Sometimes it is through words, other times through actions—but the message remains the same: God loves you, and your life has purpose.

We also distribute tracts that people can read at their leisure.

Benefits of Evangelism

1. Souls Are Brought to Christ

The greatest benefit of evangelism is salvation. People hear the Gospel, give their lives to Jesus, and begin a new life in Him. “There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” — Luke 15:10

2. Lives Are Changed

Evangelism brings hope to broken people. It helps people find peace, purpose, healing, and direction through Christ.

3. The Church Grows Spiritually and Numerically

When a church actively reaches out, new people come in, and members grow.

4. Eternal Rewards

Winning souls has eternal value. God honors those who help bring others into His Kingdom.

5. It Builds Boldness in Believers

Evangelism also strengthens those who serve. It builds boldness and compassion. It teaches believers how to share their faith in simple and real ways.

Missions Department

The Missions Ministry is the outreach and global evangelism arm of New Jersey Tabernacle. Through partnerships with Shekina Charities, this ministry extends its reach globally—bringing food, clothing, medical help, and the gospel to those in need.

This ministry is important because it keeps the church outward-focused. It reminds us that the mission is bigger than us.

Our foundational scripture is, “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.” — Psalm 2:8

As a missionary church, NJT takes world evangelism seriously. Every year, we hold a special Missions Day where the church prayerfully seeks God concerning the nation or community we will adopt for outreach. During Missions Day, members give sacrificially toward mission work, outreach programs, and missionary support. We also discuss practical ways to expand the Gospel and support those already on the mission field.

The Missions Ministry organizes mission trips locally and internationally. Each trip is carefully planned with both spiritual and humanitarian impact in mind. Teams travel with clothes, food items, school supplies, gifts, medications, and other relief materials. Medical outreaches are also carried out to care for the sick and underserved. Through these acts of love and compassion, doors are opened to share the Gospel and win souls for Christ.

Jesus Himself fed the hungry, healed the sick, and cared for people before teaching them. In the same way, our Missions Ministry seeks to meet both spiritual and physical needs.

At NJT, the sending capacity is very much bigger than the sitting capacity.

Men’s Ministry—Men of Courage

“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.” Judges 6:12 (KJV). This ministry helps men live out this calling in practical ways.

The Men’s Ministry focuses on helping men grow spiritually, lead well, and stand firm in their faith. The goal is to raise men who are grounded in God’s Word and committed to living right. Men who lead their homes with love, serve in the church with humility, and influence their communities with integrity.

The impact is seen in stronger families, better relationships, and men who are confident in who they are in Christ. When men are built, homes are strengthened, and the church grows healthier.

This ministry also provides accountability. Men are encouraged to support one another, pray together, and grow together.

Men’s ministry meet every month.

Women’s Ministry – Women of Excellence

The Women’s Ministry is a place of support and growth for women of all ages. Women are trained to become women of excellence and live out the qualities of the Proverbs 31 woman. It is a space where women are encouraged, equipped, and reminded of their value and purpose. It focuses on building women spiritually, emotionally, and practically.
Through meetings, teachings, and activities, women are encouraged to live balanced lives, honoring God while managing family, work, and personal growth.
The impact is powerful. Women become better mothers, leaders, and contributors in every area of life.
This ministry also raises women who support one another. It builds unity, sisterhood, and a sense of belonging.

Youth Ministry- Christ Ambassadors

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”  1 Timothy 4:12 (KJV). The Youth Ministry is focused on raising and equipping the next generation to walk boldly in their faith, recognize their value, and become Godly examples in character, faith, and purity. We believe young people are not too young to make impact for God. At NJT, the Youth Ministry meets young people where they are. It speaks their language, understands their challenges, and guides them with truth and love.

The goal is to help them build a strong identity in Christ, make wise choices, and discover their purpose early in life and the impact is seen in confident, grounded young people who are not easily influenced by the world. They grow into leaders.

Children’s Ministry

The Children’s Ministry of New Jersey Tabernacle is focused on raising children who know God, love His Word, and grow with strong Christian values from an early age. This ministry serves children ages 12 and under and provides a safe, loving, and joyful environment where they can learn about Jesus in ways they can understand.
Our guiding scripture is “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6
Children are the future of the church. For this reason, we are intentional about teaching them the Word of God and helping them build a personal relationship with Jesus from a young age.
The Children’s Ministry uses Bible lessons, songs, storytelling, prayer, activities, and age-appropriate teaching methods to help children understand God’s love and truth.
The impact of the children’s ministry is seen in children who are growing in wisdom, kindness, discipline, and faith. Many children become more confident in prayer, more respectful at home, and more aware of God’s presence in their lives.
The teachers and volunteers in this ministry serve with patience, compassion, and dedication. This ministry does more than babysit children during service.
